Chapter 1: Foundation
Hey gals! Sierra here. Welcome to the Steler. J Blog! We are so excited to be up and running and can't wait to share our story with you!

So. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sierra. Steler. J's unofficial head webmistriss and creative team member aficionado. I graduated from Sierra Nevada College last spring and have since taken some time off to embrace the Tahoe area; skateboarding, hiking, and enjoying the great snow season we've had this year.
It was my friend Mary who introduced me to the Boss Lady herself, Rachel Cooney. I was so impressed and inspired by her vision of Steler. J that i immediately jumped on board the team. The idea of creating base layer that combine style and functionally fits my lifestyle and i know it does the same for all you radical goddesses out there too!

Anyway, Lets dive into the Steler. J journey. Starting with the First Chapter to our Story...
Rachel Cooney, former model and mother of two, was tired of wearing base layers that looked like underwear or were referred to as long-johns. Simply put: she wanted to be able to go from the mountain to the town, while maintaining her standard of style and comfortability. She started at the drawing board, brain-storming ideas for base layers that would insulate, show off your girly features, and never turn frumpy.
Steler. J isn't all about base layers either. Its about reflecting a community of active, inspiring women that live through shared influence. Steler. J isn't just run by one corporate head or a company team, it involves anyone who wants to take part in the movement and reflects that development through our product line. So dive in, stay tuned, and keep on keeping on!
